Bob, time to go recruiting for that boxed s*it venture.

I went to Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton, mostly to drive on Mt. Hamilton Rd. (which is slightly more entertaining than observing a lick at any scale — even with a 36 inch lens).

These lions appeared outside my front door this weekend (I found them this morning, and they weren’t there on Friday). I’m more than a little bit confused as to how they got there, or what their purpose is. Did someone place them to keep the evil spirits out, or in?
